Heather Luque. The concepts within Heather Luque's work are not executed just for the looks of a final painting but are instead a expression of projected messages. If asked to, Heather can pull out her masterful traditional skills and produce a crisp and fully rendered common "Art School Type" painting. Instead she leaves all the commonality out of her work and would rather express her hidden messages through the complex form of abstraction. Unlike most San Francisco artists she sets herself apart by continuing to turn her head away from conforming to the so called "Scene". Heather Luque is tired of seeing artists trying to become and achieve the look of another. Continuing with that in mind, I am proud to have Heather Luque as part of the CulpritResearchProject. "Different equals Difference".
